家常便饭: National Service

The National Service Training Programme, or Program Latihan Khidmat Negara (PLKN), is Malaysia's national service program. The conscripts are 18-year-old youths that are selectively drafted. The three-month program, which started in December 2003, began as way to encourage friendship between youths of certain ages from different races and ethnic groups and address concerns that the country's various races were becoming increasingly isolated from one another.

This is the first time she leave home for 3 months and I miss her so much!

and, I am wondering how is she doing now? is she used to food there? is she sleep well?…

女儿当兵有一个多月了，每天在餐卓上难免会想起她，究竟吃的饱吗？睡的好吗？

虽然女儿在营地不愁吃，而且一天是吃六餐耶。虽然女儿口说那里的食物味道还好。但是，我知道她是想念家里的食物，不然的话，她不会在新年回来度假时跟我说：爸，吃团圆饭时，我要奶油鱼片。咪，我要肉煎蛋，丝瓜炒蛋等等的。:D

In fact i don't have to worry whether she got enough food, because they serve 6 meals in a day, but i know she miss home cook foods, if not she would not requested to me and her mum for her favourite foods when she was coming back for Chinese New Year Holiday.

我当然知道女儿只是不想我们麻烦。但，她心里还是想的。哈哈哈… 又或许她怕路途遥远，担心崎岖的山路。女儿的担忧我怎会不知呢。

这次借女儿去当兵的理由，和大家分享她喜欢的食物。

这是她喜欢的肉啐煎蛋。

Luckily the distance is not too far ! is about 105 km, I still can bring her some of her delight. :D

yeah, i will keep doing this every sunday until the day she back to home. <3

幸好营地会在周末开放给父母来看孩子。而且营地距离家里也不会太远，105km，大约两个钟头车程吧。
